A box of delights to arouse all your child’s senses πŸ‘€

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably found yourself desperately looking for ways to engage and entertain your young children without resorting to tech and screens.

My husband and I have always tried to focus on activities that will help the development of our children’s minds and when we came across the Little Sensory Box‘s Ultimate Box, it looked like a great way to provide a whole range of activities to both entertain and stimulate our little ones.

It’s not always easy to know what to do with your baby when they are awake, especially in the early days when often they don’t respond to your facial expressions. Having read that babies don’t get bored I still felt like I wanted to have more entertainment items at my disposal.

And if nothing else, this kind of sensory play provides a great bonding opportunity for you and your babies.

When the Ultimate Box arrived we were amazed at the number of different items that were included. Everything from rattles and bells to bubbles, puppets and colourful ribbons. We immediately tried out various items with our baby son and even in those very early days, we could observe him tracing the sound of the rattle with his eyes and moving his head.

Indeed before our baby could even smile he was showing visible signs of reacting to a number of the different activities in the box.

One of the best things about the activities is that they have proved equally popular with our daughter, who will be three-years-old later this year. She’s enjoyed hours of fun playing with the beautiful paper fan, the pot of bubbles and the black and white animal flashcards.

We love the fact that not only does the Little Sensory box provide entertainment for our children but also that the items are helping to build nerve connections in the brain and encouraging the development of motor skills. It really does feel like time well spent.

The Little Sensory Box provide subscription packages, both age specific baby boxes and also monthly themed sensory boxes. We’d definitely recommend you go check them out!
