Sensory play for those rainy days

Anyone else’s toddlers running rings around them?

Recently I’ve lost my car keys and found them suspiciously under the sofa with a collection of our garden pebbles. They seem to move at the speed of light to wreak havoc!

MySenseBox has been a great way to fill our days with sensory activities that keep our little man occupied and we’ve been able to repeat a few times.

The box comes nicely wrapped and is full of exciting mini projects. As you can see, my son couldn’t wait to see what was inside!

The digging for jelly has definitely been a favourite of ours where we discussed how jelly is made. His younger sister was able to get involved too in finding the dinos and of course, the eating!

We talked through hiding pom-poms in ice, where we discussed freezing and melting. He loved the cold sensation as he worked out ways to get his little pom-poms back.

The kit comes with all the accessories you need so easy to set up, with minimal fuss.

With Archie continuously zooming around, the calm jar was a great way to settle him for a short time! Water mixed with glue, food colouring and glitter made the contents look magical. Archie loved to call it a potion and spent time swishing it around and looking at the different patterns and colours.

The funny faces on the putty filled balloon were great him too and he enjoyed squeezing and moulding the shape, laughing at the distorted face and showing his strength when squeezing it.

MySenseBox provides a fantastic set of activities to help our little ones discover, learn and play. Better yet, I could set them all up with him and we could watch the results together.

The instructions are clear and easy to follow so no stress for busy parents and the fun cannot be understated. Seeing little smiles when achieving a Dino or pom-pom dig is a winner and with the rain and cold coming our way, it’s a great way to spend a morning!
